Nineteen years of grassroots work in Dindigul District

Rose Trust began with one volunteer's conviction that rural communities could improve their own lives, given the right support. We're still guided by that.

Our history

Founded by a volunteer, for the villages around him

Rose Trust was formed in 2006 with the purpose of helping poor and underprivileged people in the rural areas around Ayyalur, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu, improve their social and economic conditions and their environment.

Mr. C. Veerachamy, a resident of the Ayyalur area already engaged in social work, took the initiative to form the Trust together with other like-minded volunteers from the region.

Target area

Rose Trust works in selected villages of the Vadamadurai and Guzhiliambarai blocks. Our office is on the Dindigul–Trichy Main Road at Ayyalur.

Whom we serve

Agricultural workers, Dalit families, small farmers, women and children — the poorest sections of 75 villages, reaching more than 10,000 people.
